And then the Peacock whistled to the Wolf...

Happy Friday my darlings!! As some of you had guessed from my previous post, I did indeed receive a dress and some of you clever clogs were also able to guess which one I had chosen too *high 5* The marvellous dolls at Whistle & Wolf were ever so kind to let me review one of their items & of course I picked my favourite! The striking blue with the magnificent peacock on it combined two of my favourite things beautifully. My dress came in no time at all, all perfectly wrapped with a bow & they had even put the dress inside one of their shopper bags that I had been secretly wishing for *wink* {Don't worry, you get one when you order} I like shops that take time to give good presentation & care. As I believe the little things are just as important as the big stuff. Also, they're a lovely staff, always there to answer questions. But, onto the dress...the material is slinky and feels so nice against the skin. I was surprised as to how well the dress actually moves with the body, I don't like restricting clothes. Sturdy stitching, very well made...a dress that will last me for along time & one that I'll wear continuously throughout the year. So positively ecstatic with my dress & looking forward to adding other items from Whistle & Wolf in the future. Definitely worth treating yourself from if you like beautiful and quality clothes! I hope you enjoy dolls & wish you a wonderful weekend...have some fun!

{Shop Love} Whistle & Wolf

Hello baby dolls!! I hope everything is going well for you. Do you love pretty shops with gorgeous clothes!?! Of course you do! Sometime ago I discovered a dainty shop called Whistle & Wolfe, what caught my eyes first, before I saw any of their stunning clothes, was their company logo...this gorgeous peacock with the wolf shining back at me, I instantly thought...'Yes, I'm going to love them' and love them I do. Dainty wonders with style and class, taking note from a quirky vintage perspective but breathing new life into it. Lush bold prints and fabrics with classic tailoring. Suitable to wear day or night as you can easily style them in a thousand ways. I personally love that they are unafraid to have classic shapes but use such a bright and ecstatic template of colours. There's also a hint of a flirtatious nature hidden in each dress, the fabrics mold around your curves and show them off in the best possible manner - a very grown up look perfectly mixed with a fresh carefree attitude. Only launched in November of 2012...they're still relatively new, but have instantly given women something to desire, enjoy and sashay out into the world looking and feeling her best! I feel these designs suit a wide range of personalities, style them as you will - I can see brightly coloured tights, lovely cardigans, vintage styled hair, funky accessories & glowing confidence! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! Have a great day dolls

P.S. Which is your favourite!?! Stay tuned to see me in my favourite Wolf & Whistle dress ;-)

{The Powder Room} Love Lula Beauty Box

Hello my sweet lush faces!! Some time ago, I discovered the site Love Lula! It's a one-stop online shop that sells a wide variety of Organic and natural beauty & skincare products worldwide {free shipping too}. I was quite surprised by the vast array of items to choose from, I really hadn't heard of many of them. As I was browsing, I noticed they had an option of buying monthly beauty boxes filled with various samples of treats they offer on the site, so I thought this was my best way to go. It was relatively inexpensive {£12.50 if you wish to pay by the month - there are bigger options as well. See here.} I was quite excited as to what the products would be as I've only used a small amount of natural products & they didn't leave me with the greatest impression. So, this was going to be fun ;-)

{I am new to this vine thing, so it's a bit fast, haha}

My box arrived in no time at all. Well wrapped in a sturdy box, and all the products came in a dainty drawstring bag - which I thought would be quite handy if you wanted to carry all the products to the bathroom and have a product fest - which is what I did! And to my further surprise these were quite posh products, I felt like I was in the spa. I was certainly intrigued - but would the actual product measure up to it's pretty packaging!?! Let's see ;-)

{Note: This isn't a sponsored post. I bought the box with my own money, I am just sharing my experience. I linked all the product company names to their Love Lula Pages instead of their own websites since this was a Love Lula Product box.}

1. Gielly Green Classic Shampoo & Conditioner
From the first twist of the lid, you're met with a gorgeous citrus like scent, but it's not over-powering and it certainly isn't fake either, it's like slicing into an orange on the beach, really lovely and inviting. It lathers well, you only need to use so much pending on your length of hair. It rinses incredibly good, like the best ever. I didn't have to stand there and rinse over and over like I usually do because of my hair length, which was left feeling lovely & conditioned. Clean, but not stripped of the hair's natural oils, so this was an added bonus in my books. Very delighted with this. I would most definitely use these products again. Incredibly lovely! Products to leave for guests or hide from them...so you can relish in them yourself *wink* Quite love Gielly Green!

£16 for 200ml / £5 for travel size of 50ml

5 out of 5 Dainty Hearts. Sizzling Heart.

2. John Masters Organics Zinc & Sage Shampoo w/Conditioner & Honey with Hibiscus Hair Reconstructor
Well, all I can say is that John Masters is indeed a master!! From the moment I opened the sachet for the shampoo with conditioner, I was in heaven. The product smells like cupcakes...I was like 'goodness are you sure I can't eat these?? Seeps into the hair so easily, right down to the roots and replenishes the scalp. Rinses perfectly and leaves a lovely aroma, following this I used the Honey with hibiscus hair reconstructor and this took me straight to a flower garden with honey dripping from the hives...it was marvellous. These are the kind of hair products that get used on you in the salon & you feel amazing after, but can never quite find the same result when you go home & do it your self. My hair was left bouncy and really soft, the only left for me to do is try more products...I am super super happy. I felt like I was in a Herbal Essence advert with the ooohs & ahhhs....except this is a thousand times better & healthier!

{Shampoo & Conditioner} £20 for 273ml
{Reconstructor} £26 for 118ml

5 out 5 Dainty Hearts. Sizzling Heart.

3. John Masters Organics Blood Orange & Vanilla Body Milk
Again, I really wish I could eat this stuff, it smells so bloomin' amazing, I can't stop using it. And you know you're not smelling something synthetic, it's real and it's so gorgeous. Sinks into the skin with ease, feels like whipped up happiness in a bottle. My skin was left feeling silky soft and smelling tantalizingly sweet. I have mad love for this product - yes indeed, I do! A little goes a long way & you're really treating the skin with something so natural like this. Beautiful product.

£18. for 236ml or 30ml travel size £2.50.

5 out 5 Dainty Hearts. Sizzling Heart.

4. Allison Claire So Remarkable Mango Body Butter
Another yummy smelling delight. I love the aroma of mangoes, so I instantly adored the scent of this. Melts into the skin - indeed like butter actually, my skin felt light and so so soft.  Nourished feeling and lightly scented. Wonderful. Adore this product, anyone who loves mangoes will be sure to love it too. It is delicious, something I would carry around with me throughout the day to use. Perfect.

£7.99 for 50ml travel size.

5 out of 5 Dainty Hearts. Sizzling Heart.

5. Essential Care Gentle Herb Shampoo
This has a mild cleansing agent in it made from sugar. Along with coconut oil, organic aloe vera along with other organic biodynamic herbs. Anyone who suffers from itchy scalp or problems like that will appreciate this greatly, it's soothing without over drying. The only problem for me was that I needed more lather, especially when having long hair. I felt like it was going on & just going off. The scent wasn't for me either.

£10.50 for 200ml or £3.50 for 30ml

3 out of 5 Dainty Hearts. Lukewarm Heart.

I feel I got lucky with many of these products being so lovely...which is always great when your the one testing them...no reactions this time, just pampering heaven!! Proof that Love Lula really pride themselves on quality. I hope you enjoyed & I wish you a fabulous day dolls.

Love loves

I love these Sophia Webster shoes, some of you will have seen a different favourite on my facebook page, but with her talent, I would be happy with any or all of her collection!

As most of you know, I occasionally write about different lingerie brands from around the world, since then I quite often get asked what my personal favourite lingerie shop is, I do have a select few, but by far my favourites are by Chantal Thomass! They suit my personality perfectly, are a perfect mix of feminine, sweet, sassy, fierce, playful and strong. Decadent delights for a woman to put on and enjoy her body in all it's glory, no matter the shape. Chantal is a creative genius & by far one of the most interesting women I've come across in my lifetime.  You can find these amazing numbers here, along with all her other marvels to delight your eyes...

I always have time for Ulyana Sergeenko, this is from her Autumn/Winter 2012 collection shot by Nickolas Shushkevich on location in Paris (which also happens to be a favourite place) it's stunningly romantic and dreamy - just how I like it!! The slightly see-through aspect of the dress is sensual, so you can either do as this beauty has or wear some marvellous lingerie like the above! One day when I am rich I will fill my wardrobe with her creations...or find someone talented enough to make me some things inspired by her creations!!

One of my favourite dainty shops is Stranger London....a cabinet of curiosities as I call it. It's never short of beautiful useful items with a dark twist...like a fairy tale land where things you imagine can be real. I visit the site just about every day to see what I might find. Everything is 100% handmade with care, very beautiful and special like their creator. You can venture & find this treasure by clicking here.

And lastly...flowers in the winter (though, I love flowers all year round)!! I know flowers are sort of 'for' spring and those sort of seasons, but there's always been something romantic and sensual that I love about seeing flowers in the winter...whether it be on wallpapers or even real flowers from a florist's shop. The contrast for me, keeps the winter blues at bay & I get lost in decadent daydreams!

Bring me to life...in a picture!

Hello my darlings!! Happy Wednesday to you...not had some art on here in a while, so I thought I would share the latest art works that I've been admiring. These come from Patricia Tarquini or 'Mutemouia' and she's a 20 year old beauty from France with bags of talent. We followed each other on twitter & I quickly noticed a picture of Robert Carlyle that she had tweeted to him & I was amazed by the sheer talent that jumped out at me. I had to look twice to be sure this was a pencil drawing, because it looked so real that it could have been a painting or some kind of digitally produced piece of work. But, I assure you these are graphite portraits done by her own hand. I have to say they look better than most real life portraits, the way she captures her objects essence is amazing. And oh yeah...she's self-taught...no training, only the general art classes anyone takes in school...impressed!?! I'm surely impressed! For only being in her 20's, one can only wonder what more years put into her raw talent can be produced...I for one, am so excited to see what it will bring!! Patricia's other interests include history and vintage lifestyle...below you can see some of my favourites. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I do - let me know in the comments!!

Have a gorgeous day dolls

Once upon a time...

I love a good fairy tale...I love the rush of the heart when the prince comes and takes the princess away from the horrible step-mother or the other way around. Or the belief of something so deeply in your heart and soul, that nothing in this world could ever come and shake you from it. The thought of standing strong through bad times and knowing brighter skies are on their way. It's what pulls us through, helps us heal and be reborn.  Fairy tales need not always be those read in books or seen on movie screens, they can be a single person who lives with goodness in their heart, someone who thinks of helping others or smiles at strangers. A person who lends us a hand in our darkest hour. In this world, there is so much negativity that happiness and belief of good things are becoming like fairy tales. But, they can be restored and believed in once more...just click your heels and say...''I do believe in love & magic, I do I do'' and the dangers of the world can be defeated...because love and belief are stronger than all things!!!

Have a great Monday fair Princess' & Princes.

I hope it's magical for you
